Kazunori Ohara, or better known as Naph, is not an unfamiliar name in the Japan indie scene. He formed the amazing duo group "RdL" together with mondii, and he is also an integrated part of the 4-piece band "All Frogs Are Our Weekend", in which the members include Chihei Hatakeyama. On top of that, he has also released solo album under the moniker Naph. Naph is a fulltime music composer, producer and also an established sound engineering, whose previous collaborations include renowned artists like World End’s Girlfriend and aus. One of his latest projects as sound engineer was the mastering of okamotonoriaki's debut album, "Telescope". During the process of mastering this album, Naph was very attracted to the music of okamotonoriaki, especially to this track called "Polar". He likes this track so much that he agreed to produce a remix for it, even though he was so tied-up with his busy schedule. As a result, this beautiful remix was born. 
Based on the idea of "fountain", Naph reinvented the beat-oriented pop-ish track into an amazing ambient masterpiece. With the beautifully layered reverbs, subtle field recording, and sprinkles of electronic effects, delicately laid upon the dreamy flugelhorn that was humming at the back, this remix does not just instantly transport us to a picturesque scene with a beautiful water fountain, its layers of sounds even create an impression that we are standing within a magnificent musical fountain. This remix, undoubtedly, is an amazing listening experience. (mü-nest)
